For modeling risks and variables, Primavera Risk Analysis can import existing project and budget plans from Oracle® Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. The software thus offers a solution for an integrated cost, schedule and risk analysis over the entire life cycle of a project. Using fast and easy techniques to determine contingency and risk response plans as well as comprehensive methods to document statistical collateral in the project, Primavera Risk Analysis evaluates the risks in projects with corresponding risk registers and templates. It then uses the Monte Carlo simulation method for advanced risk analysis. These analyses can be output in a variety of formats, such as risk histograms, bar charts or scatter charts. Users are thus able to identify risk drivers before (optionally) integrating the resulting risk-adjusted project plans back into the master plan.

As a support tool for decision making and the determination of statistical collateral, Primavera Risk Analysis provides an objective overview of the required project reserves and an analysis of the efficiency of proposed risk response plans. These two factors form the basis for a risk-adjusted project plan - now a standard component of a scheduling process.

The Primavera Risk Analysis Training includes the following topics:

  • Risk Methodology
  • Basic Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis Theory
  • Schedule Review
  • Risk Assessment Templating
  • Risk Register-Wizard
  • Risk Register
  • Documentation
  • Histograms

  • Applying Risk Analysis
  • Integration Primavera P6EPPM and Microsoft Project
