Using Oracle Primavera P6 requires the assignment of different license types. Each license is associated with a specific set of user rights. The combination of these license rights can vary depending on the area of use and organization. Thus, it is not always obvious which license types are required or in use in individual cases.

The software solution identifies and tracks all existing licenses in Oracle® Primavera P6 EPPM. The integrated calculation function of the tool determines the number of all existing P6 licenses quickly and in detail. Taking into account the stored user access rights, the proP6LicenseTracker delivers precise results on the license status - and reveals available, necessary, and missing licenses.

Immediate calculation of the necessary licenses

Based on the counter analysis of the associated database, information about the current status of existing P6 licenses can be retrieved within seconds.

Simple status query through automatic download of information from the last session

In alignment with the first login to the tool, all information from the last session is automatically loaded, except for the password.

Storage of information from different databases in separate data files

If access to multiple databases is required, the respective information can be stored in different configuration files. When logging into proP6LicenseTracker, the required files can be loaded into the tool using the "Browse" function.

Exclusion of certain user licenses from the counting process

The proP6LicenseTracker offers the possibility to exclude certain users from the total count of required licenses. These users are stored in a white list.

Extensive overview of the counting results

Upon completion of the count, the proP6LicenseTracker generates a detailed overview of the existing, used and remaining licenses in P6. In addition, the P6 module accesses of the individual users are displayed in a spreadsheet view.
