In this module, participants learn how to use the concept of lean scheduling and the Scope app within Oracle® Primavera Cloud and how to apply it profitably.

Content

Oracle® Primavera Cloud offers lean scheduling based on the LastPlannerTM method. This combines classic waterfall planning with Kanban task management for open collaboration with external stakeholders. Tasks can be controlled via a graphical interface, which also allows status updates and information sharing for each task. This method is explained in more detail during the training as the following content is shown: 

Oracle® Primavera Cloud also offers the use of the Scope method. The Scope app is a comprehensive concept for planning the scope of various work packages within a project. Based on the scope of specific scope items, the values of installation progress, modules, or components can be evaluated. Tracking project progress using scope items can provide a realistic basis for earned value analysis. How to use them is taught as part of the training:

This basic training is aimed at project managers, project staff, project controllers, schedulers, and executives who want a solid introduction to Oracle® Primavera P6 EPPM. The participants already know about project planning and project management.

Presence training - the basics and functions of Oracle® Primavera Cloud are conveyed using lectures, exercises, and practical examples. Targeted application exercises guarantee a direct practical transfer of what has been learned.
